Session Abstract:
What is a Security Sales Engineer and do you want to become one? Join this session to meet and hear from some seasoned Sales Engineers and Sales Engineering Manager from Proofpoint. Proofpoint is a leading cybersecurity company that protects organizations’ greatest assets and biggest risks: their people.
You will get the opportunity to hear about the journey that each of these security professionals had to take in order to become a successful sales engineer in the field of network security. We will also talk about the typical day of the sales engineer, pros and cons of this career path, and what are some of the top skills required to join the sales engineering ranks. Each presenter will spend about 15 minutes sharing their story and we will leave ample time for questions at the end of the session.
